Biography

My calling as a make-up artist came as a young girl. I was always fascinated with watching my mom meticulously apply her make-up. Because of my early fascination, my mom supplied me with my first official canvas, a life-size Barbie head.

When Barbie was utilized to the fullest I then moved on to more lively subjects - my brothers! They served me well until my sister came along.

In high school and college I utilized my good-natured friends as subjects. Along the way a career in make-up artistry developed.

Striving to be a visual display artist, I pursued a career at various clothing companies. Later, I found myself behind a make-up counter and gained valuable knowledge and experience.

I progressed to working with brides for their big day, engagement pictures and everyday people that had the desire to look their best. I worked with corporate accounts and individuals using models for commercial jobs, photo shoots, comp cards and film.

To this day I utilize the Cleveland market as much as it will allow. My work has taken me to Chicago, New York City and other cities around the country.


Professional Experience Present Engagements Wife to Rocco Fana and mother to Cecilia About Face Make-up Owner and operator since 1995. M.A.C. Cosmetics (Make-up Artist Cosmetics) Assist and instruct clients with make-up demonstrations and techniques that best suit their lifestyle using creative judgement. Serve clients needs and concerns relating to selections of make-up and skin care. Member of the Cleveland Film Commission. Previously Ford Modeling Agency Represented as a Make-up Artist and Stylist. Worked with fashion and commercial photographers, corporate clients and models. Clients included: MTV, Pepsi, Fox Sports Net, Ohio Ballet, Cleveland Magazine, DuPont, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Matrix, American Greetings, IMI Talent Management. Lancome Cosmetics. Traveled Ohio as regional artist appearing at Lancome locations for special in-store events. Involved with the Edge Benefit organization. Involved as head Make-up Artist for the first three years of the Cleveland Fashion Show.
